FAERS DATA MINING
Unanticipated drug-drug interactions can lead to serious medical issues, or even fatalities. Using publicly available information from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS), I developed methods for measuring symptomatic drug-drug interactions based on statistical associations, and showed how automated signal detection can support causality assessment in the pharmaceutical industry and escalate critical safety issues.

What goes into the making of a really great animated movie? Is it superior animation, visual effects, or storytelling? To answer this question, I created interactive plots and network graphs by scraping movie crew data from the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).
